Baby You're a Firework

These pictures are originals and unedited (I can' quite believe it myself!)

I wanted to come up with something bright and eye catching for Guy Fawkes and what better opportunity to put my Makeup Revolution Day of the Dead Palette to good use as it has some extremely vibrant colours! You can recreate this look by following the steps below, all you will need is three vibrant eye shadows (I know you have some lurking at the bottom of our makeup box), concealer or primer, an eye shadow brush, kohl pencil, liquid liner and mascara!

1. I  started off applying concealer to my eyelids as I threw my primer out a while back and concealer actually seems to work just as well!

2. Using an eye shadow brush from The Body Shop I swept the neon yellow shade 'Live With Passion' all over my eyelid and right up to my brow.

3. I then took the bright pink shade 'Redemption Is Near' and using the same brush applied to the inner corner of my eyelid and used my finger to blend it out.

4. Next, I used the same brush to apply the amazingly pigmented purple shade called 'Be You' from the middle of my eyelid outwards, again using my finger to blend.

5. I kept applying the pink and purple shades until I was satisfied with the strength of the colour, each time blending them together with my finger.

6. I then used the tip of my eyeshadow brush to line my waterline with 'Redemption Is Near'.

7. Taking my Models Own Kohl Pencil I lined my top and lower lash line, then using my Rimmel Liquid Liner added a thick flick to the outside to add a dramatic look.

8. To finish the look off I applied two coats of Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara.

Will you be rocking this vibrant look tonight? I would love to see! Tweet me a pic @thelckydiamnd

  1. This look definitely has the 'wow' factor, perfect for fireworks night! Not sure I could pull it off though but pretty nevertheless :)
